Cryptocurrencies are traded on various trading platforms. These platforms are called exchanges and are broadly divided into centralized and decentralized exchanges (CEX and DEX for short).
MEXC is a centralized exchange. These are usually platforms operated through a user interface and require KYC from a certain amount onwards. For FIAT transfers, KYC is always mandatory. We recommend verifying yourself fully early on, as this promotes a smooth process during peak phases of the crypto market.
