Deposit and trade

Please note that MEXC is a third-party provider and we have no access to the systems or can provide support.

Once the extended KYC is activated, there are various deposit options available. Since most cryptocurrencies can be paid with USD Tether (USDT) or USDC (crypto stable tokens), you can directly pay with USDT or USDC. To do this, click on "Buy Crypto" in the tabs at the top.

In the purple area, we see 5 different single payment options. The first one involves a direct purchase of USDT with EURO; Visa and MasterCard are accepted.

Under the "Third-Party Providers" tab, you can find various payment providers. You need to sign up with them and then deposit using different options (ApplePay, Google, SEPA, etc.).

Purchase by credit card

In our example, we buy USDT with a credit card. We take 1000 € and are shown an exchange rate.

We insert our own credit card and click on "+ Add Card".

We now enter the credit card details here: First name, Last name, Number, Expiry date, and CVV.

After successfully adding the card, we can see the card during checkout (last 4 digits).

In the next window, an hourglass will run out; depending on the amount, you might need to confirm the payment in the credit card app or a similar platform.

Under my assets, we now find the ordered USDT and are ready to trade or withdraw.

Move the deposit to the spot market

The deposit is initially placed in the so-called FIAT account and must be moved to the spot account before trading can begin. To do this, click on Wallet in the top right corner.

We now have the wallet section of MEXC. We see a FIAT section and a Spot section. When we click into the tabs, we see that the $52 are in the FIAT section. We click on Transfer to move the deposit to the Spot section so we can trade.

After clicking the "Transfer" button, we set the desired quantity.

After successful transfer, the USDT will disappear from the FIAT section and appear in the Spot section. Once you see the USDT here, you are ready to trade.
